When you use the "AI Translation" feature in Confusionism:

• Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between the app and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard protocols.
• Limited Storage: Our servers (confusionism.net) do not store any of your text data except for anonymized, aggregated data used to improve our services.
• Secure Processing: We temporarily process your image and text data solely to provide the translation service you request.

We act as a secure conduit for your data, processing it only as necessary to deliver the translation functionality.

What Third Parties Do With Your Data

When you optionally select to use AI translations, we forward extracted text to trusted third-party providers with the following privacy protections:

• No AI Model Training: We use API configurations that prohibit providers from using your data to train or improve their AI models.
• No Advertising or Marketing: Your text data is not used for advertising, marketing, or targeting purposes.
• Minimal Data Retention: We route requests through Zero Data Retention (ZDR) pipelines, instructing providers to delete your prompts and completions after processing.
